It has been so nice to spend the summer with my family. Being at home, with the grandkids or at JoDee's. It was great to have Jaxon, Jazmyne, Jinaya here for a week. They are quite a joy in my life. They had fun swimming, teasing the dogs, playing with cars and dolls, pestering each other, keeping gramma up til 2 am and just being here. Jinaya decided she liked grandpas nick name for her, "Spook". she would say "I'm boook!"(the sp kinda changes to a b sound.
They weren't homesick until I showed them the new pictures of "our baby brother" on Friday, then they were ready to go home. We took them home and just about Gunnison, Jinaya started yelling from the back of the van, "Gwaaammma, I needjyou!" "Gwaaaaaammaaaaa, help, I needjyou!" she was definately ready to get out of the carseat. Grandma was tough and kept driving.

A Grandson on Grandpa's Birthday!!!

HE'S HERE!!!
JAYTHAN PETER SHARP,
born June 3, 2009; 3:01 pm;
7 lbs 9 oz.; 19 inches long!
And cute as the other three!!!
His parents are doing great, other than a very tired mommy.
I have been very privileged and honored to have attend each miraculous birth of my grandchildren. Each one brings a glorious feeling of joy and love. Unlike many parents today, Josh and JoDee have chosen not to find out the gender of the child before he/she is born. but the one thing they do have ready is a name for a boy and for a girl. I had an inkling that this baby would be a boy and I asked JoDee what was the boy name they had. She told me Jathan (Nathan with a "J"). Well, I am thinking maybe she better have a girl cause the name didn't set with me at first. Towards the end of her pregnancy, I knew he was a boy and Jathan was a fine name. JoDee said Josh changed the spelling to Jaythan. OK. although it seemed that on the day of the birth Josh really didn't recall adding the "y". Jathyn, Jythen, Jethyn, J--well you get the picture. Then the really funny part was listening to The Dad and the Grandmas on their cell phones telling family and friends the baby boy's name. Each conversation went something like this; :
"Hi, We have a boy......Jaythan.......No, Jayth-than.... No, like Nathan only with a J. .... No, J-a-y-t-h-a-n, Jaaayththththaann. ... yea with a TH..... No not p-h, T-H, JayTHan!....I'll send you a text luv ya bye!"
And that was the conversation in the room for a couple of hours.

Nellie is much better. She is emailing the Special Ed. Director in our district to let her opinion be known about her schooling. She doesn't want to ride the bus to high school. She thinks it is too long, too much day for her.
So we are looking into creating her schedule and curriculum to better suit her needs for high school.
I will get to be the Head Teacher at HES next year, although I will be working under a new administrator, Principal, over our school. Should be ok
